Who Are We: Harvest Inn opened on July 14, 1966 and is located on Liberty Road in Eldersburg Maryland. It is Eldersburg’s oldest Family Owned & Operated Restaurant. Originally opened as a Coffee Shop, Harvest Inn expanded in January of 1971 and a Dining Room was added offering a cozy atmosphere accented with a gas burning fireplace. In November of 1985, Harvest Inn expanded once again & added a second floor Lounge and Banquet room which allows additional space for social gatherings & special events! Our customers are like family…we value and take pride in knowing we have served you for many generations and we look forward to serving you for many more!!!

Review: It's not everywhere that you can find a meal that defies the confines of its plate. I knew I was in for something unusual at Harvest Inn when the waitress had to line my placemat with napkins prior to even bringing plate out. Once she unveiled the platter from its plastic case, I saw why. The dish literally spilled onto my paper placemat with a tangy, sweet-sour brown sauce that coated two enormous potato dumplings and numerous cubes of beef. Despite this excitement, however, the Sour Beef and Dumplings experience is one of the more exotic at Eldersburg's long-time restaurant Harvest Inn. The restaurant has a carved wooden sign up in the lobby boasting a date of 1966, and a menu that matches only the décor in wholesome hominess. Booths and tables with vinyl cloths line the general area, under a host of hanging flower arrangements. A brick wall and fireplace forms one wall, while the others feature lacy curtains, wallpaper, and rustic knick knacks.
